SIGN PAINTING WORKSHOPS PDX - FALL 2023

This 2-day workshop will introduce you to the basics of Sign Painting. You will learn to paint two basic styles of lettering with a brush and will get familiar with the tools and tricks of the trade. The workshop is designed for beginners, no previous experience is required and all skill levels are welcome!

At the end of the workshop you will walk away not only with a new skill and a wooden hand-painted sign of your own, but also with a basic kit with all the supplies you need to keep on practicing.

The basic kit includes:
– Lettering brush
– Enamel paint bottle
– Aluminum mahl stick by Excel
– Pounce wheel by Excel
– Stabilo pencil
– Printed posters with practice strokes
– Printed posters with practice alphabets
– Digital Zine with all the information reviewed during the workshop

Class goes from 10am till 6pm, Saturday and Sunday.
